Steve and I were able to get in a walk on the beach after supper, thanks to the extended sunlight. I wish these photos had smell-o-vision because the salt air smelled wonderful.
For some reason I really love the look of beach grass against the sand.
You can see our long shadows to the left of this photo.
I think the ripples of sand and the twiggy-ness of these piles of debris are interesting.
There's a world of perfection in one tiny shell against millions of grains of sand.
Some type of seaweed bundle I wanted to bring home, but didn't.
I did bring this chunk of wood home though. Well, Steve carried it for me, but that counts, doesn't it?
And here it is in it's new home, the back porch step, just below the conch shell step.
With the weather getting even better, I'm hoping to have lots more walks on the beach starting this afternoon! Spring break starts Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.!!!
Absolutely beautiful, Rose! I'd love to live near the beach.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to live, awesome...ciao
ReplyDeleteVery cool shadows...and I love that perfect white shell. Nice to have someone strong along to lug home the beautifully-shaped driftwood.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
