I've been missing in action the past couple of days. My friend and I had a lovely time in New York with M1, then I had a relaxing Saturday hanging out on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather and putting together a post complete with pictures about both those days.
And then life threw me a curve ball. I woke about 2 a.m. Sunday morning with severe stomach pain, finally going to the emergency room around 9 a.m., which led to an overnight stay and a stress test this morning. Luckily, the test showed good results and no heart issues, but I'm still in pain, although I'm home, and now I have to schedule an appointment with a gastro doctor. The ER suspects I have acid reflux, in addition to the IBS I've had for at least twenty years.
So the posts about New York and gardening will have to wait a bit. Back soon I'm sure. And it turns out I'm not that good at knitting through the pain.
The Nature Of Change

Oh no! I hope you're on the mend soon. The pain makes me think ulcer.
ReplyDeleteFeel better!
Poor you! I'm sending good knitting thoughts your way. Hope you can at least read or watch movies. Look after yourself.
ReplyDeleteThank you both. I'm thinking ulcer too, after reading the symptons on the Mayo Clinic website. Can't get an appt before April 30, so I'm going to try a few OTC meds until then. What a pain, literally and figuratively.
