Weekend Forecast: Relaxing

It's cold and rainy here tonight and I thought it was supposed to be like this all weekend. I actually was hoping it was so that I could hang out and do a lot of nothing without feeling guilty. But it turns out it's actually supposed to be sunny tomorrow, although it'll still be in the forties. But no matter what the weather ends up being like, I'm looking forward to a relaxing, quiet, and restful weekend at home with no obligations. I've already had my evening bath, I'm in comfy clothes, (not pajamas, but close), and I'm ready to sit on the couch, watch a couple of episodes of Nurse Jackie, and knit.

I got my package of yarn from Knitting Addiction today but since I didn't give Brittany the color codes the other day, I got the wrong color of green. No big deal though; I called her back and ordered the right color and I should have it by Monday. This time I checked my ravelry page and lo and behold, I had actually entered the color information! Would have been helpful if I had done that the first time around but hey, no problem. The baby I'm knitting for isn't due until June, so I have plenty of time. Maybe I'll work on my sweater sleeves instead.

  1. How is "Nurse Jackie"? I've read great things about it, but I haven't seen it yet.

  2. I liked it; it's sort of like ER but with fewer plot lines/characters and a bit darker. I'm not a nurse so I don't know about the accuracy but it seemed plausible to me. Scary but plausible if that makes sense.

  3. It's cold and rainy here today. I'd like to sit on my rear and finish that sweater, but all that unpacking beckons. Yuck.

I like my medical shows to be realistic. That's why the only one I watch is House. lol

  4. Sounds like the perfect weekend. Cold and rainy here too which matches my mood, but I'm knitting on through all crises just like EZ!
