Spring is Here

I saw this sunrise Friday morning; it looked so pink and blue that I grabbed the camera. Although this doesn't show the colors very well, it does give a hint of it.Today was even more beautiful.
Our forsythia is blooming; yellow flowers say spring the way no other color does.

Steve and I went to a book sale today, then met my folks for brunch. Afterwards, he and I went our separate ways to take care of some errands, then met up again back home.

And I don't know how warm it got today, but at 5 p.m., it was 75 degrees. Steve worked in the yard (it makes him happy) and I sat at the beach for awhile (that makes me happy). My winter white legs are hard to distinguish from the sand. When it got too noisy at the beach, I came back and sat on the deck for awhile, which made me sleepy, so I took a nap.

What a lovely day. Hope yours was too.

  1. Spring seems to be coming quickly to all of us, now. I see lots of time on the beach for you - with knitting of course.

  2. Oh yeah, although that means cotton yarn instead of wool. Already planning some cotton baby knits.

  3. Well, spring was here, but yesterday was rather wintry. Today it's in the mid 40s, but at least it's sunny.

    Enjoy your beach time.
