Saw a funny meme on Facebook today: "Today is Thursday, or as I like to call it, the 4th day of the hostage situation." Kind of indicative of my last few weeks.
So, without further ado, here are some images of the things that are helping me cope:
The beach, my happiest of places, with a new beach bag.
Spring flowers blooming in my yard. Lilacs, both purple and white.
Candytuft.
Roses, white and coral.
And knitting. This is my finished, pre-blocked Diagonal Lace Scarf, from Churchmouse, in a lovely silver color. Can't wait to wear this one, it will go with so much of my work clothing (think lots of black).
