Time to Begin

For some reason, I feel like it's time to start my holiday gift knitting. Maybe because I've eaten my fill of pumpkin pancakes and candy corn, although not at the same time. Or maybe to justify my Rhinebeck yarn purchases. Or it could be due to the fact that November begins this Friday, but regardless of the reason, these are a few of the patterns I've been thinking about:

  • Darkside Cowl
  • Isla Cloche
  • Cladach
  • Barley
  • Drop Stitch Cowl

I'm still working on my Tidal cardigan, but I can see the finish line. It'll be done soon enough, and since our weather is usually warmer than I'd like for the fall season, I'm sure I'll get plenty of wear out of it.

What are you knitting these days?

  1. I just finished a scarf I think I will put in my Christmas present bin, it was fast and fun.
    Hus to you,

  2. Nothing. But I'm thinking of starting just because the yarn you bought is so lovely. It's inspiring! Maybe I'll just get really, really fat needles and chubby yarn and knit a scarf. One stitch is all I know. It should go pretty quickly, right?

    1. I knit scarves the entire first year I learned to knit and loved every stitch of it, so yes, you can definitely do it! It makes me happy to knit. As a matter of fact, I get irritated at myself because I spend too much time in my iPad, instead of knitting. You'd think I'd know better by this age.
