Snow!

The sky is so pretty this morning.

We got a light dusting of snow last night, and the temperature is in the twenties today.  I think this is our one day of winter.

 I refilled the bird feeders.

 Here's one of the visitors.

I am very happy with the shade of blue I chose.  It has just a touch of grey in it, and I think it makes the white trim look crisper.

This is a really close match to the colors I'm knitting to make the Tulips sweater.  I think the Mission Falls 1824 Wool is a little heavier weight than the Dream in Color Smooshy, so even though I'm making the smallest size, it looks a little large.  But it will fit someone, right?

  1. Love the paint colour. I'm thinking of using it in our sunroom. We're having a little bit of winter too, so I've piled on two sweaters and now I'm going out to clean off the car.

  2. I think your color choice is absolutely lovely. It does indeed look crisp and clean.
A good match for the snow outside. Enjoy it while it lasts.

  3. I am envious of your cottage by the sea - it's a dream I've held close my entire life!
