They Did It!

They graduated!! This four day weekend was an incredibly moving experience for me, but for now, I'll just let the pictures tell the story.

Melissa with her high school friend and college roommate, Kate. They had good times and trying times, but they were perfect for each other. They're both just now realising how much they will miss living with each other as Kate heads off to grad school and Melissa comes home to look for a job. Me and my beautiful daughter. Words fail to describe how proud of her I am.

My parents and sister with the graduate!

The girls again, this time with cake!

This morning after breakfast, before we headed back home.

More stories and photos later. As always, it's good to be home again.

  1. Congratulations! She is so pretty and looks like a warm, vibrant person (kind of like her mom!).

  2. Congratulations all around! Go Hokies!

  3. Words fail to describe? Oh, I beg to differ...I think your pride is written all over your face with that smile. Congratulations, Melissa!

  4. Cograts to Melissa and kate. You look so happy with your beautiful girl.

  5. I love you. Thanks for everything, Mom.

  6. Congratulations to your girls and to your family! How proud you all must feel!
