A Thumbs Up!

S was my hand model for the first handmitt in my project series. What I love about this photo?
The fact that she has her own knitting project on her lap! The Blooming Cotton Scarf by Eunny Jang.

Oh yeah, resistance was futile for this one.

  1. Nice mitting...love the soft and cozy-looking yarn.

I hope we'll see a photo of that scarf, too. It looks like a bunch of yummy grapes the way the knitting has curled.

  2. oh your mitts are so special! i need to add this pattern to my long list. I could sure use some more relaxing knitting time - i've created some stressful days for myself by spending the few quiet hours i have in the week searching for a house, or land, or anything where we can have a house with a larger kitchen, bathrooms with windows, a fireplace, and a second story so it's not so dark in here all the time. problem is we live on the nicest lot in a real neighborhood with a paved road - not easy to find out here in the country where the only nice houses are on the water and priced crazy high. I'm taking a break now - and focusing on getting chicks to raise!

LOVE that you love food and art and festivals and books and knitting. in ten years i'll move to a cottage next door to you and tag along on all your adventures! and hopefully my kiddos will come along just like your girlies do. Have a great weekend!
