It was a pretty tough week, despite the fact that I only worked four days. This was in my mailbox when I got home Friday afternoon and I have to say, I laughed out loud right there on the sidewalk.
After going through my craft/yarn room and culling more out, I rewarded myself by watching Home Fires and casting on for the Guernsey Wrap using the Green Mountain Spinnery Weekend Wool I purchased last weekend. So happy about the color!
Gracie really enjoyed napping on my 3 Color Cashmere Cowl (mine isn't 3 colors or cashmere, but I love it anyway).
Not sure how this is comfortable, but. . .
Hope your week is a good one!
Wine is so much cheaper there than in Ohio, where it is taxed like crazy. We pay at least 3-4$ more per bottle.
ReplyDeleteI can recommend the Apothic Red as a nice red blend. Good with food; good as just a sipper.
I'm really not supposed to drink with the mess I'm on but I do once in awhile. Really miss it though.
DeleteI have been thinking of knitting that wrap for a while. I'm tempted to indulge in the yarn and knit along. How far are you?
ReplyDeleteJust got started. Wondering if the yarn is too big but then I'll just have a throw instead of a wrap, right? Scared to take it out in case I lose track of the chart so not making much progress but it is easier than the pattern looks. All knits and purls.
