The weather was absolutely gorgeous this weekend, and I was lucky enough to be on the beach most of today. I worked on my appropriately named Tidal sweater.
Not too terribly far along, but with school still taking a lot of my time, I haven't been able to work on it very much. I am hoping to have it finished in time for Rhinebeck, because I am going again this year! Even more exciting is the fact that I'm going with both of my daughters! Melissa and I are taking the train to New York on a Friday, and driving up to the fairgrounds on Saturday. It's such a beautiful drive, seeing all the leaves along the Hudson River.
Steve and I went thrifting yesterday, and I found this lovely end table. I need to have glass cut to fit, but meanwhile, we are using it as is.
It's a whimsical piece, isn't it?
Oh and not only was the beach beautiful, but I got to see a wedding with bagpipe music, and a woman flying a kite!
