Forsythia is such a pretty flower, isn't it? It is the epitome of spring to me, right up there with daffodils.
These are two branches I cut off of our large forsythia and brought indoors; they look pretty in the blue vase don't they?
Almost done with the second skein of yarn; one more to go. I think it's a
sweet pattern, but not sure I'd do it again anytime soon. I am ready to tackle the
February Baby Sweater, however, since this is the same stitch pattern.
Lots of school work to do today, trying to catch up from my latest week of illness. Thank goodness I'm feeling more like myself. Happy Sunday to you!
My sentiments exactly on the forsythia. They look beautiful in that vase (which I love).
ReplyDeleteOurs were almost out and then we got snow last night.
Glad you're feeling better!
The forsythia is lovely, but you southerners are killing me with your spring like photos. We're still covered in snow--got more yesterday and Friday.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow we'll hit a high of 40. Whoopee! Oh wait...it comes with rain. Should be a big mess!
So glad you're feeling more yourself, Rose.
Glad you are feeling better, but catching up is no fun. I should work today, too, but I'm not sure I will.
ReplyDeleteThe forsythia are so beautiful. It reminds me of the bush we hadoutside our kitchen window when I was growing up in Michigan. It was usually peeking out around Easter. So lovely.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day,
Meredith
Pretty flowers, and I love that vase!
