Postcards from Philly

I lost the post I had written about my short trip to Philadelphia, so I am taking a page from some of the bloggers I read and posting a few pictures, postcard style. Feel free to skip over them, if vacation photos bore you!

Lori, in front of Loop!

Me, in front of Loop. Great store to visit, plus it got us in a cool neighborhood we wouldn't have seen otherwise.

This restaurant was just down the block from Loop, and it was so good we ate there twice! It was called Honey's, and if you ever go to Philly, eat there.

The fabulous hotel we stayed in.

Philadelphia City Hall; a stunningly beautiful building.

Heard about Cro-nuts? We ate them and they were truly to die for!

This mosaic was in a building off of Independence Square; apparently a scene from The Sixth Sense was filmed here.

The view from the steps of the Philadelphia Fine Arts Museum.

A whirlwind trip and such fun was had! See you soon.

  4. You're better than a travelogue. Love these posts from places I'll probably never get to.
