I am 53 years old today and I am celebrating by taking Amtrak to New York to visit my daughter. I'm on the way right now and I have a bag of knitting projects sitting next to me that I will work on as soon as I finish this post.
I had birthday cake last night with my husband, youngest daughter, my niece, and a friend from work who is also my knitting buddy. And yesterday, my students showed me some birthday love with an oversized, handmade card.
Good news on the Gracie-cat: she has finally trusted us enough to hang out in the sunroom with us. Such a sweetie.
