Knitting Retreat

Our knitting guild held its fourth annual retreat last weekend and my friends and I went for the second year in a row. We are not novices anymore as you can tell by this picture.

There was knitting bingo, fabulous door prizes, and lots of laughter.

And the weather on the Outer Banks was gorgeous.

I came back relaxed and rested and ready for spring break. Only 12 more school days to go, but who's counting?

  1. The knitting retreat sounds fabulous! I need to learn to knit so I can attend one. I am counting the days till spring break. I'm very ready for it.

  2. Twelve is doable. Stick a short novel in there or a play or a grammar unit on phrases. Before you know it, twelve days are gone and done!

    (Been there; done that! ;->)

    1. This week was nuts; the weather warmed up and the kids lost their minds. But we will make it. Reviewing for state test with my juniors, finishing Fahrenheit 451 with sophomore honors, and short stories and grammar with regular sophomores. Did a paper purge on Friday so that helped.

  3. Thank you so much for sharing these pictures here. You are looking amazing and full of life. I am looking for options of Chicago wedding venues for my brother’s wedding. He has given me responsibility to organize everything.

  4. But it would be wrong to think that every company makes use of the same industrial tools when it comes to testing. Abrasion
