Isn't it sad that we feel we have to stay at the hospital to make sure our loved ones are cared for? That night was such a gift to your parents.

I'm catching up on blog-reading and I was so moved by your recent post on teaching literature. I have the same approach and doubts that you do. I think it's true that good teachers are self-reflective; I also think that SLOs and PDPs are not going to help the unreflective change! I think that students learn from thoughtful teaching even if the unit doesn't go the way you planned. It is a journey that you are taking with them.Caffeine Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10073716022646773106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5391048348570890883.post-75423087158560473952015-04-27T19:36:04.754-04:002015-04-27T19:36:04.754-04:00Surely this is a site well worth seeing.Surely this is a site well worth seeing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16349087080262856079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5391048348570890883.post-50810871197660358582015-04-27T11:53:36.587-04:002015-04-27T11:53:36.587-04:00This post seemed like a good news post, all the wa...This post seemed like a good news post, all the way around. That's what reassuring news will do for you, right?

Gratitude gives us a great appetite for simplicity, both in our food and our desires overall. Your yardwork felt wonderful, and I'm sure your meal was the best you'd had in ages. (Polenta with fresh asparagus and mushrooms sounds perfect to me.) And those lilacs--heaven-scented. They are among my favourite flowers, and yours look spectacular.

You're heading into the week with a renewed sense of joy. I hope it can carry you a long, long way.Nancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17627214346956206283noreply@blogger.com
